Diddy’s attorneys and prosecutors filed a joint request on Tuesday asking that the music mogul face sentencing on October 3rd.

‘Mr. Combs’s mother is 85 years old. She suffers from various health conditions. For example, she was hospitalized in July 2024 for a heart condition and had brain surgery the previous year,’ the defense letter said.

‘She lives near Mr. Combs in Florida and she would like him to be her primary caretaker.’

Diddy’s lawyers have asked Judge Arun Subramanian to allow Diddy to await sentencing for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in his mansion in Star Island.

Prosecutors have opposed the request, citing letters of concern by Cassie Ventura’s lawyer and witness Deonte Nash, who expressed fear of the mogul’s release.

Judge Arun Subramanian sided with the state and ordered Diddy to stay behind bars while he awaits sentencing.

Jurors deliberated for about 13 hours over three days before announcing their verdict. It came after they said late Tuesday that they had decided on four counts but were stuck on the racketeering charge.

At that point, the judge told them to keep deliberating and keep the partial verdict under wraps.

Diddy did not testify in the trial, which featured 34 witnesses as well as video of the rapper attacking his former girlfriend Cassie, the R&B singer born Casandra Ventura.

Cassie Ventura is ‘at peace’ with the verdict, despite expecting Combs to be convicted on the sex trafficking count involving her.

In an interview with ABC News, Ventura’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor, said the sex trafficking charge was the ‘most important count to her.

‘I think that obviously she would be a lot happier if the jury had convicted on that,’ he said. ‘But she’s at peace with the verdict. She is moving ahead with her beautiful family and her husband.’

The attorney added that he will now speak to his client about giving a victim impact statement at Diddy’s sentencing.

‘I wouldn’t be surprised if she makes the decision to do that, because it’s important,’ Wigdor said.

Anna Estavao, one of the lawyers on Diddy’s defense team, on Wednesday declared the verdict an ‘enormous victory and win.’

‘This is a reminder to everyone I hope of the flaws in the criminal justice system and for everybody to take a second look when the government charges people with crimes,’ she told reporters outside of the Manhattan courthouse.

‘This is a huge win,’ she continued. ‘He was acquitted of sex trafficking, acquitted of RICO conspiracy and he will sleep well at night knowing that.’

Diddy’s lawyers have slammed a new lawsuit claiming the music mogul doused a man with his semen after masturbating into a shirt that belonged to the late Notorious B.I.G.

The suit, filed on Monday by a John Doe, claims Diddy threw the shirt at the man after ejaculating into it during a listening session for a Biggie Smalls project.

The first is Khristina Khorram, Diddy’s right-hand woman who has previously been described in civil lawsuits as a Ghislaine Maxwell-esque fixer.

The second is his loyal bodyguard – D-Roc – who women testified helped Diddy arrange their freak-offs.

As the judge prepares to sentence the rapper and producer on prostitution charges, experts are asking whether President Donald Trump will step into the case to grant clemency to man he once called a ‘good friend.’

Despite some of the disturbing testimony that came out at trial, a Trump pardon is not out of the question.

The president indicated in May while the trial was underway that he was open to the idea.

One source close to the pardon process put the odds at ‘fifty-fifty,’ telling NOTUS: ‘But this [is] a lot trickier than even Larry Hoover. This isn’t slipping under the radar.’

But just before the trial started, prosecutors told the judge they were unable to get in touch with ‘Victim 3.’

Robert Shapiro, the lead defense attorney in Simpson’s infamous murder trial, said Diddy would likely face two to three-and-a-half years in prison after being acquitted of sex-trafficking and racketeering but convicted for lesser prostitution offenses.

‘Having seen that this judge did not release him on bail, I think a message may be coming that you’re going to be spending a lot more time, so no reason to let you come out and come back in,’ Shapiro told Fox News Digital.

Shapiro noted that in denying Diddy bail, Judge Arun Subramanian mentioned the mogul’s ‘propensity for violence,’ citing the 2016 footage of the rapper assaulting Cassie Ventura in a hotel hallway in Los Angeles.

‘If the judge looks at that tape in his mind and is reminded about it again… I think there is a real chance that a substantial sentence will be forthcoming,’ the attorney said.

Shapiro’s comments come as Diddy, his lawyers, and prosecutors are expected to meet with Judge Subramanian for a post-trial hearing on Tuesday to discuss a sentencing schedule.

Despite a courtroom victory that saw Diddy cleared of the most serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, the atmosphere in the court grew tense again on Wednesday as the music mogul prepared to learn whether he’d finally be released on bail.

Eighty-year-old Janice, who had been surrounded by family members all day, stole a few minutes for herself alone in the courthouse bathroom – calmly fixing her lipstick in the mirror as the judge’s decision loomed.

The 55-year-old music mogul was depicted in court sketches visibly panicking when jurors announced earlier this week that they had reached a verdict on four of the five charges against him.

The images – some of which were commissioned by Jane Rosenberg – provided rare glimpses into the rapper’s mood and demeanor during the high-profile proceedings.

But Combs was not always satisfied with the way Rosenberg was portraying him, even criticizing her work during a break in proceedings last month.

Deonte Nash, a former stylist for Combs and Cassie who reluctantly testified during the trial, told the judge in a letter that bail would ‘send a dangerous message: that wealth and influence can shield someone indefinitely from accountability.’

Cassie, through her lawyer, also encouraged Subramanian to keep Combs in jail.

‘Ms. Ventura believes that Mr. Combs is likely to pose a danger to the victims who testified in this case, including herself, as well as to the community,’ Cassie’s lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, wrote.

The verdict in Manhattan federal court came after a veteran team of eight defense lawyers led by Marc Agnifilo executed a trial strategy that resonated with jurors.

Combs passed lawyers notes during effective cross-examinations of nearly three dozen witnesses over two months, including Diddy’s ex-employees.

The lawyers told jurors Combs was a jealous domestic abuser with a drug problem who participated in the swinger lifestyle through threesomes with his girlfriends and other men.

‘You may think to yourself, wow, he is a really bad boyfriend,’ Combs’ lawyer Teny Geragos told jurors in her May opening statement. But that, she said, ‘is simply not sex trafficking.’
