Residents of a small Florida community say they are being terrorized by a suspected drug house that law enforcement cannot control.

Angry locals in Silver Springs reached out to local outlet News 6 due to being plagued with problems.

The residents say they have no choice but to lock up their belongings and that they are scared to let kids play in the yard.

We see people coming in and out of our neighborhood, all hours of the day and all hours of the night in their vehicles.

‘We see them riding their bikes back and forth. We have them walking down our streets stumbling and falling in the streets because they are so high on something,’ resident Beth Campbell said.

Carol Lane told the outlet she has resorted to putting bars on her windows over her fears.

She added: ‘It’s just mind boggling, trying to go to sleep and then somebody’s banging on your house. You worry – is someone in trouble? Can I help?’

Timothy Santrock said that drugs are not the only crime, and that theft has risen in the area.

He said: ‘I’ve had hitches stolen from my vehicle. I’ve had a generator stolen out from under my house.

‘If it ain’t nailed down, they will steal it. Nothing is safe in this neighborhood.’

Campbell added that she was scared to even let her grandchildren outside in her yard due to the activity.

She said: ‘ We have our kids and grandkids frequent a lot, and we’re afraid to have them out in our yards.’

The outlet approached local Sheriff Billy Woods for comment but he refused to be interviewed.

Campbell isn’t the only one with concerns with the comings and goings on at the house, with the outlet also talking to other residents

According to locals, things have now quietened down with law enforcement patrols increasing

Police have so far found cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana and used needles at the address.

Three people have been arrested, including a David Biaza, who is accused of manufacturing and selling crack cocaine from the home.

Two other men, Donald Burns and Lance Shackelford, were also arrested on felony drug charges.

According to locals, things have now quietened down with law enforcement patrols increasing.

Campbell said: ‘We’re hoping it stays that way, but I think everybody can say that we’re happy that we got Channel 6 involved to help us out.’
