Cardi B today led the meltdown from liberal celebrities around the world after Donald Trump dramatically seized control of the US election.
The American rapper, 32, unleashed an expletive-laden rant towards Trump’s army of supporters as the Republican leader closed in on a historic win to cement his return to the White House.
After winning the key battleground states of North Carolina, Georgia and Pennsylvania, Trump took to stage and declared victory in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
As a picture started to unravel of which way the vote was heading, Cardi B said she she was ‘proud’ of Kamala Harris who secured states including California and Colorado but failed to overcome her Republican rival.
During an TikTok live to 37,000 viewers, the Grammy-winning artist turned on Trump’s supporters who were flooding the comments section as she shared words of motivation to Harris.
Reading a comment which said ‘Cardi we need you at the Trump inauguration’, the singer ranted: ‘I swear to god I’m gonna f*** you up, get away from me! I’m sick of you! Burn you’re f***ing hats motherf****r. I’m really sad. I swear to god I’m really sad.’
Talking about her ‘love’ for Harris, she told her followers: ‘No matter what, I know that she’s probably emotional right now. I know there’s probably a lot going on in her mind and I know she’s not listening to this, but she will eventually see it.

‘I just hope she knows no matter what happens tonight, millions of people are proud of her. Women around the world are proud of her. Women of colour are proud of her.
‘Y’all I know how I felt at the beginning of the f***ing year, I didn’t want to vote for anybody. She changed my mind, I feel like she was very honest and said the things I wanted to hear.’
The rapper added: ‘When I look at her face and she was talking to me, I thought she was very genuine and not playing any f***ing games. She had 100 days to do all of this and she woke this nation up. I feel there was a lot of things that went wrong last year and they kept her too much in the background.
‘I’m proud of her and I hope she’s proud of herself no matter what happens tonight. This is one of the most unforgettable elections and I love her. I don’t say I love a lot of people, y’all know that. Because I hate everybody.’
Cardi B is one of a number of celebrities who have endorsed the vice president for the US election.
Talk show host Oprah Winfrey, rapper Eminem, singer Taylor Swift and her American footballer boyfriend Travis Kelce and actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Julia Roberts have all also endorsed Harris.

Goodbye women’s rights, goodbye liberalism, goodbye freedom of speech. Hello racism, hello capitalism, hello climate change, hello war, hello end of days.’
The Wire actor Wendell Pierce also warned of the ‘consequences’ a Trump victory could have.
He wrote: ‘The Supreme Court will be changed for a generation. I’ll never see a moderate court again in my lifetime. Alito and Thomas will step down and Trump will appoint 40 year old partisans to the bench. The damage he is about to inflict on our institutions the next 2 years will be irreparable.’
Supermodel Cara Delevingne said it was ‘gutting but freeing too’. She added: ‘We get to make every day over the next four years hell for fascists, misogynists, bigots and liars. This is not the time to shrink, nor the time to despair.’
Elsewhere, British liberal LBC radio host James O’Brien wrote: ‘What fresh hell is this?’ Meanwhile, fellow broadcaster Carol Vorderman simply said: ‘God help America.’

In a Channel 4 interview, he added: ‘The kind of nonsense he’s been talking about in the last… I think he’s lost it quite frankly..
‘I think he is deeply mentally unstable.. And I think he has been for some time. This is not a man who should be president of the United States.. He’s unreliable.. He’s a convicted felon.’
In stark contrast, gloating Trump endorsers were celebrating into the night. Billionaire X owner Elon Musk said: ‘Game, set and match.’ He added: ‘The people of America gave Donald Trump a crystal clear mandate for change tonight.’

‘I don’t really do endorsements. I’m not shy about sharing my views, but I hate politics and don’t trust most politicians,’ he said.
Despite that, the Terminator star, 77, said that it’s time for the country ‘to move forward’, and that ‘the only way to do that is with Harris and Walz’.
Along with his endorsement, the actor made a blistering assessment on Trump – and predicted the havoc he would wreak if he becomes president again.
Schwarzenegger wrote: ‘We need to close the door on this chapter of American history, and I know that former President Trump won’t do that.
‘He will divide, he will insult, he will find new ways to be more un-American than he already has been, and we, the people, will get nothing but more anger.’
Several actors had even filmed commercials supporting her, including Billy Eichner and Will Ferrell and more recently Harrison Ford.
