A serious TV interview got an unexpected dose of adorable after a baby girl made her way onto the live show to pat her grandpa on the shoulder.

Rick Davis, a Stone court LP Bloomberg contributor, joined the Balance of Power show on February 12 and was interrupted by his granddaughter, who wandered into his office while he was discussing government funding and immigration policy politics.

Davis had gotten through nearly all of his discussion with the show’s hosts before his little loved one stumbled into frame while giving his thoughts on his final questions.

The little girl walked in and appeared to have no clue that she was now involved in a serious interview.

Davis’s eyes grew wide when he noticed that she was by his side, but he acted unfazed and continued explaining how Americans were expecting a larger crackdown on big business by the Trump Administration.

His granddaughter was persistent, tapping him on the shoulder repeatedly, trying to draw his attention.

At one point, she can be seen saying something to him, and he finally tries to subtly push her away.

She goes off-screen and he tries to continue with to the interview without acknowledging the moment.

However, back in the studio, one of the hosts pointed out how they noticed his granddaughter as Davis could be heard laughing.

Despite the seriousness of the discussion, all the hosts were glad to have the friendly little face on their show.

The on-air moment draws flashbacks to the viral clip in 2017 when Professor Robert Kelly appeared on BBC News and had a similar interruption.

Professor Robert Kelly appeared on BBC News via a video link to offer his expert insights on South Korean politics.

The hilarious footage shows Kelly, an associate professor of Political Science at Pusan National University in Busan, handling serious questions about the country’s president, Park Geun-hye, who was ousted from power.

But suddenly, a toddler bursts into the room in a bright yellow top and performs a comical dance behind the Cleveland, Ohio, native.

Despite the grandpa trying to act as if nothing happened, one of the hosts back in the studio pointed out how they noticed his granddaughter

Kelly, 44, who was born and studied in the US before moving to Korea as a political science professor, focuses entirely on the camera as he attempts to blindly hand off his daughter, who is clearly curious as to who he is talking to.

And his parental problems soon double as a baby also excitedly makes his way into the room under his own power in a walker.

To complete the farce, his wife, Jung-a Kim, then comes skidding through the threshold.

She grabs the two youngsters and attempts to drag them out of the door, but one of them can be heard wailing, and the baby’s walker suddenly won’t fit back through the door.
