I know there is worse to come, says ANDREW LOWNIE. ‘Homeless’ Sarah Ferguson will NEVER recover from this… while Epstein was using Andrew to get to the Queen

A Royal biographer has claimed ‘there is worse to come’ for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor as the former Prince was pictured for the first time since being mentioned in the latest dump of documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein.

The disgraced royal, who was seen driving his car and later riding a horse in Windsor on Saturday, featured several times in over three million documents published last night by the US Department of Justice linked to the paedophile financier.

Among the documents was the revelation that Andrew invited Epstein to dinner at Buckingham Palace days after his house arrest ended, while a series of disturbing photographs appear to show the ex-Duke on all fours over a woman.

Elsewhere, in the document dump, screenshots and scans appear to show the former Prince exchanged emails with Epstein about meeting a ‘beautiful’ 26-year-old Russian woman.

Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson also featured, with one email appearing to show her thanking Epstein for ‘being the brother I have always wished for’.

Andrew Lownie, a royal historian who published a biography about the former Duke and Duchess, told the Daily Mail he believes there is ‘worse to come’ for Andrew.

He added that Sarah’s close relationship with Epstein was equally ‘damaging’, adding the former husband and wife’s reputations ‘are absolutely in the dust’ and ‘neither of them can ever recover from what has been emerging’.

The former couple lost Windsor mansion, previously home to the Queen Mother, following further revelations over their relationship with Epstein last year.

Earlier this week it was claimed that Sarah will not join Andrew in relocating to Sandringham because she ‘would prefer to stay in the Windsor area’ – leaving her in the midst of a ‘housing crisis’ as she is yet to find a new permanent property.

Andrew also appeared expressionless as he was seen horse-riding later in the day

The former Duke enjoyed a ride in the sun on Saturday hours after the latest release of the Epstein files

‘[The Royal family] had plenty of opportunities to discipline Andrew, to remove him from his posts in the past to deal with him, but they’ve only done so because of public pressure and media pressure,’ Mr Lownie continued.

‘But I don’t think any of this will come as a surprise to the Palace. They’ve been bracing themselves for the stuff to emerge at some point.’

Mr Lownie also accused the King’s brother and former sister-in-law of lying about ending their relationship with Epstein even after he pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution in 2009.

He said: ‘You can’t believe a single word either Andrew or Sarah Ferguson says and I learned that over my four years of research.

‘They lie even about things they don’t need to lie about. So, I’m afraid their reputations are absolutely in the dust. Neither of them can ever recover from what’s been emerging.’

But Mr Lownie warned there is ‘worse to come’ for the former Duke, saying ‘this is only a very small percentage of the material the DOJ collected. There’s also more material with the Epstein estate, which they could release if they wished to.’

The documents also revealed a number of gushing emails, seemingly exchanged between Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell, in which they told one another they loved each other.

Mr Lownie said this was further proof that the pair were romantically involved, having known each other for many years.

‘They were lovers, they had been lovers. They have known each other for years. It was a very close relationship. It was very tight. Ghislaine was Epstein’s right-hand woman. She was very, very close to Andrew.

‘Andrew was very integral to the whole operation. He would have seen everything, he would have known an awful lot. I think it’s very telling that he ran away to Balmoral to avoid the summons. He’s never made any comment on any of the allegations.

‘In the last few years, he’s, refused to apologize to the victims in any of the statements. He’s never cooperated with law enforcement or the victim’s lawyers. He is deeply, deeply implicated, which is why he’s not going to go and talk to the Senate or anyone else.’

Andrew has repeatedly denied all accusations against him relating to his association with Epstein.

But he appeared in greater spirits later in the day as he was seen laughing while riding through a wooded area in Windsor

Mr Lownie claimed Andrew’s involvement with Epstein ‘is the biggest scandal to the royal family in over 100 years’, adding that the disgraced paedophile had been using him to get to the late Queen.

‘Epstein got very close to the Royal Family and he was using Andrew to get to the Queen. I think Epstein thought that he could be doing business things for the Queen.

‘I have no doubt that the members of the royal family probably met Epstein, that hasn’t emerged yet. The family were helping Andrew, whether inadvertently or advertently, knowing who the people were.

‘But, he had the support of the family for what he was doing, so it wouldn’t surprise me to have the Queen meeting some of these people, like Epstein.’

Elsewhere, biographer Tom Bower said the latest documents were ‘absolutely devastating’, adding ‘the photos alone of Andrew on his knees are pretty awful’.

He told GB News: ‘It further underlines how Andrew lied about his relationship with Epstein, claiming he had nothing to do with him after prison, but here he is exchanging emails about women both in London and elsewhere.

‘It’s utterly devastating and thank God the King stripped him of his titles and isolated him.

‘But it really does suggest Epstein was supplying women to Andrew because he was suggesting this particular girl visiting England, would be visiting Andrew and they exchanged texts and emails and I think that’s pretty damning and sordid.

‘It confirms for too many years the royal family buried this issue and didn’t want to grasp the nettle just when the truth was so obvious for so long.’

Photos and emails related to the disgraced paedophile continue to emerge following the release of more than three million documents published by the US Department of Justice on Friday.

In three photographs released last night, a man believed to be Andrew can be seen leaning over the woman who is sprawled face up with their arms spread out.

He is staring directly at the camera in one picture, while in another he has placed his left hand on the female’s stomach. The man, thought to be the former Duke, is barefoot and is wearing jeans and a white polo shirt, along with a silver watch.

Another person can be seen in the photographs, sitting in a leopard-print chair with their feet up on a table.

It is unclear where the images where taken and no further context is given

A picture of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor lying across a row of women in a photo during a black-tie event with Ghislaine Maxwell was released as part of the Epstein files in December

Like much of the material released in the Epstein files, it is unclear when or where the images were taken and no further context is given. Last month, a photo of Andrew lying on the laps of five women at Sandringham was released in another batch of files.

Another email exchange appears to show that Epstein had offered to set up a dinner for Andrew with a ‘clever, beautiful and trustworthy’ 26-year-old Russian woman, saying: ‘She has your email.’

The prince, who would have been 50 at the time, replied that he would be ‘delighted to see her’. And he cheerfully asked the convicted child sex predator, whose house arrest had finished just days earlier: ‘Good to be free?’

Royal commentator Jenny Bond criticised Andrew’s judgement over the alleged incident, raising concerns that such a meeting would have been a huge security issue.

She told Sky News: ‘Well, you have to wonder. I mean, did some brain cells not whirr into action, saying “Now this doesn’t seem like a good idea, a 26-year-old Russian beautiful woman wants to have dinner with me”.

‘I mean, did it not occur to him that this could be a real security risk? Did the Profumo affair not fire into his brain? Apparently not. Andrew does not seem to engage the brain cells that he has very readily when it comes to Epstein.’

Also among the documents was the revelation that Andrew invited Epstein to dinner at Buckingham Palace days after his house arrest ended. He promised ‘lots of privacy’ to the paedophile shortly after he was granted his freedom following a conviction for soliciting a minor.

In the astonishing email, from September 2010, Epstein requested ‘private time’ while on a visit to London, to which Andrew replied: ‘We could have dinner at Buckingham Palace and lots of privacy.’

It is not clear if the offer was taken up. But just two days later, the pair were back in email contact, with Epstein asking the then-prince ‘g [Ghislaine Maxwell] is here with me…what are you doing?’

Andrew replied to say he had a ‘lunch with a Saudi Prince and then out to secret intelligence firm’, before telling Epstein: ‘Delighted for you to come here to BP [Buckingham Palace]. Come with whomever and I’ll be here free from 1600ish.’

The exchange came during what must have been one of Epstein’s first sojourns outside the US, having served a 13-month sentence for sex crimes mostly in his Palm Beach mansion following a sweetheart plea deal with prosecutors.

Emails between Andrew and Epstein revealed in the Epstein files

Epstein had offered to set up a dinner for Andrew with a ‘clever, beautiful and trustworthy’ 26-year-old Russian woman

According to Epstein, Microsoft founder Bill Gates caught a sexually transmitted disease from ‘Russian girls’ – then suggested secretly slipping his wife Melinda antibiotics.

There are also new emails relating to Sarah, formerly the Duchess of York, and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie – including pictures of them from Andrew’s electronic Christmas cards.

Several emails refer to the well-chronicled debts of Sarah – who took money from Epstein to help pay them off. One email sent in August 2009 shows her thanking him for being ‘the brother I have always wished for’.

In another email, Ms Ferguson calls Epstein ‘my dear spectacular and special friend’ and ‘a legend’.

Epstein’s madam – and Andrew’s long-term friend – Maxwell is also heavily referenced in the documents. In one email to Andrew, she joked that ‘five stunning redheads’ would now have to ‘play with ourselves’ because the former duke had said he should spend time with his children instead of visiting ‘the Island’, thought to be Epstein’s private property in the US Virgin Islands.

The email exchange – in which Andrew calls himself ‘The Invisible Man’ – from August 2002 reveals the prince begging Maxwell’s forgiveness if he turns down her offer and holidays with his family instead.

She replies, ‘I will not be remotely offended’, but then jokes that a woman whose name was redacted ‘who is now coming and five other stunning redheads will all just have to play with ourselves’.

Elsewhere in the files, a 25-year-old masseuse said to have worked for Epstein in 1999 said she ‘didn’t feel good’ about being asked to massage Andrew – because she thought she was being asked ‘to do more’.

The unnamed woman submitted a statement to a private investigations team in 2021 that was sent to Maxwell’s defence team, the files show. She said: ‘I was only involved with Jeffrey for a year.

‘I never saw him like a creepy guy. There were never any young girls. I saw Prince Andrew and Donald Trump. [Epstein] wanted me to give Prince Andrew a massage, but I didn’t feel good about that. I wonder if he was offering me to him to do more.’

Andrew and President Trump have consistently denied any wrongdoing. But the former prince’s explanations in his car-crash Newsnight interview in November 2019 looked flakier than ever following the raft of new emails disclosed in the files.

He notoriously told Emily Maitlis he had gone to New York in 2010 to ‘end his friendship’ with the convicted paedophile because that was ‘the right thing to do’.

But one of the newly released emails shows Andrew telling Epstein: ‘See you tomorrow afternoon. Really looking forward to seeing you and spending some time with you after so long.’ In another email days before they met in New York, Andrew wrote to his friend, saying there were ‘some interesting things to discuss and plot’.

Far from cutting ties with Epstein, the prince later wrote a ‘Happy Christmas’ email to ‘Dear J’, adding that it had been great to spend time ‘with my US family’, the documents reveal.

But there was some potentially welcome news for Andrew regarding American prosecutors’ requests to interview him as a witness to Epstein’s child sex crimes.

Epstein was found dead inside his New York prison cell in 2019. His death was ruled suicide by hanging

After a prosecutor from the Southern District of New York complained of ‘zero cooperation’ from Andrew in 2020, a new email reveals an internal FBI memo stating: ‘He’s not a big part of our investigation.’

Elsewhere in the files, the former prince expressed ‘frustration’ at not being able to go on holiday because of the 2003 Iraq War, which cost the lives of 179 British personnel.

Less than two weeks after British troops were sent in to topple Saddam Hussein, Andrew whined he would ‘love to be able to get away’. He wrote to Maxwell on March 31 that year: ‘With this war on, the media would go bananas if I was to be known to be out of the country whilst this was on. I am becoming frustrated at this slight caging!’

Releasing the files, US deputy attorney-general Todd Blanche compared the amount of evidence reviewed to ‘two Eiffel Towers’ worth of material. He insisted the Department of Justice had not protected Mr Trump despite the ‘hunger or a thirst for information’.

Andrew stepped down from royal duties in 2019 after an interview on BBC Newsnight but the publication of Ms Giuffre’s posthumous memoir, and the US government’s release of documents from Epstein’s estate, brought more scrutiny over his relationship with the financier.

It led to the King officially stripping his disgraced brother of both his HRH style and his prince title.

The loss of Andrew’s titles meant Sarah reverted back to her maiden name of Sarah Ferguson, with the former duchess also criticised for writing to Epstein after his conviction calling him a ‘supreme friend’, despite publicly disowning him in the media.

The former couple also lost their Windsor mansion, previously home to the Queen Mother, over their relationship with Epstein.

But while Andrew is set to relocate to Sandringham, it has been claimed that Sarah ‘will not be moving in’ because she ‘would prefer to stay in the Windsor area’.

‘Relations are warmer between Ferguson and the couple’s daughters, but no offer of permanent accommodation has been extended to their mother’, a source told The Times.

‘For now, Andrew and Sarah have a housing crisis. It may mean that they have to lower their expectations about the sort of lifestyle they wish to lead.’
