Listen to Barron Trump’s new accent as it’s revealed he’s ‘taking lessons to change his voice’

Barron Trump is reportedly taking lessons to change his Slovenian accent to become more confident.

The 19-year-old has been quietly trying to adjust his accent to ‘sound more like his American peers,’ according to celebrity journalist Rob Shuter, who reportedly spoke with anonymous White House insiders.

‘Barron is very focused on how he presents himself now’ and ‘wants to be confident when he speaks,’ a source reportedly said.

Video, compiled by the Daily Mail, shows Barron speaking over the years and reveals how the President’s son’s voice has evolved.

During his father’s first term, he was mostly kept out of the public’s view. His mother, Melania, who is originally from Slovenia, is fiercely protective of him.

Last month, she became furious at a MAGA influencer who shared details of a private conversation he had with Barron on a popular podcast.

She also reportedly threatened influencers who took pictures of the President’s youngest son at Mar-a-Lago over Christmas with expulsion from the club.

A viral video of Barron when he was four years old showed him speaking English with a strong Slovenian accent.

He was reportedly primarily raised by Melania and her parents, Amalija Knavs and Viktor Knavs, meaning he adopted a similar accent to theirs.

Since Barron turned 18, he has made more public appearances, particularly on his father’s campaign trail. Barron is pictured here on stage with his parents on election night in 2024

He was more prominent during President Trump’s 2024 campaign, though he remains more reserved than his older siblings, particularly Donald Jr and Eric.

At a Mar-a-Lago New Year’s Eve party last week, Barron was seen with a muted expression standing between his mom and dad at a table as ‘Ice Ice Baby’ played.

Meanwhile, other top members of the administration, such as Kristi Noem, were dancing and having a good time.

And a few days before, he was also seen keeping to himself at another Mar-a-Lago holiday dinner.

Barron recently moved back into the Executive Residence at the White House after spending his freshman year at NYU in New York City. He will continue taking classes with the university at its Washington, DC, campus.

His efforts to change how he speaks may be linked to a desire to be more politically active, as he has support for a political career among some Republicans.

As a result of being raised primarily by Melania and his maternal grandparents, Barron adopted their Slovenian accents as a child. Barron is pictured here as a toddler with his grandparents, Amalija Knavs (left) and Viktor Knavs (right), and his parents

Barron has been partially credited with helping Trump secure votes among young men by recommending his father engage with them through modern media formats, including podcasts such as the Joe Rogan Experience, on which Trump appeared in October 2024.

Will Donahue, the president of the College Republicans of America, said last February that his organization would welcome the President’s son into its leadership ranks.

‘While we have not yet had direct communication with him, we would be honored to provide him with a platform to begin his political career should he choose to do so.’ Donahue said.
