Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs’ shook his head after the judge said a black juror should be dismissed from the trial for giving inconsistent statements.

The bombshell moment came after the rap mogul’s former assistant Jonathan Perez told the jury he was in charge of preparing the hotel rooms for what Diddy called his ‘King Nights.’

Meanwhile Kanye West showed up to court to support his fellow disgraced friend in a move that left some cheering in the courthouse.

The trial concluded its fifth week Friday, as the music mogul faces life in prison for drug trafficking and racketeering.

Prosecutors say they charged the rapper with sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy because he used threats, drugs and violence to force women into unwelcome sexual experiences and used his employees and associates to help him get what he wanted.

Diddy has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, he faces 15 years to life in prison.

Judge says juror #6 should be booted from Diddy trial after ‘inconsistencies’

Judge Arun Subramanian said on Friday that juror #6 should be dismissed because of inconsistencies in his statements about his place of residency.

These changes suggested an ‘effort to try to get onto the jury’ the judge said.

‘In the robing room he said the daughter lived in New Jersey. Then he said, in The Bronx, with his aunt. In the voir dire he said he lived with his girlfriend – who lives in New Jersey. These are inconsistencies,’ the judge said.

‘The reason we have alternate jurors is if questions arise. Where there’s a question like this, removal of the juror is required. The juror will be dismissed, he should not return on Monday.’

Diddy shook his head after the judge made the comments.

His lawyers had suggested prosecutors wanted the juror out because he was black and strongly opposed the juror’s dismissal.

Judge Subramanian said he will make a decision over the weekend.

A mystery rapper dominated the 22nd day of Diddy‘s trial, even though he was never identified in court.

The jury was told about the ultra-famous hip hop artist and his wife watching a male escort have sex in front of their friends and Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, referred to only as ‘Jane’.

The rapper, described in court as an ‘icon’ of the music industry, flirted with Jane while watching the sexual performance at a hotel in Las Vegas in January 2024.

Kanye West stunned the ongoing trial for Shawn ‘Diddy‘ Combs as he showed up to back the disgraced rap mogul, hugging his son in a show of support.

Diddy gets huge win in court as judge says psychologist can’t get back on the stand

A ruling by judge Arun Subramanian delivered a blow to the prosecution’s case this week, as they will not be able to recall an expert witness to explain victim behavior.

A significant part of the prosecution’s case against Diddy relies on whether the jury believes his alleged victims were coerced into the so-called freak-offs or that they were willing participants.

To prove that victims were coerced, prosecutors brought in expert testimony from clinical psychologist Dawn Hughes, who also testified for Amber Heard during her case against Johnny Depp.

Hughes told the court last month that victims may say things they don’t mean – like wanting to participate in certain sexual acts – as a means of survival. She said victims who are subject to violence also disassociate which can affect their memory.

However, Judge Arun Subramanian ruled that Hughes could not speak to the jury about coercive control, which can make victims become reliant on their abusers and keeping the abuse a secret, as reported by USA Today.

Prosecutors wanted Hughes to come back on the stand to explain to jurors why victims stay in relationships with abusers.

They wrote Hughes is needed to explain ‘how different forms of abuse combine, the “environment of fear and obedience’ that impacts a victim’s decision-making and emotions, and how abuse is ‘interspersed with rewards, positivity, affection, and normalcy” to create attachment and dependency.’

Diddy’s lawyers, on their part, asked the court to not allow more expert testimony, arguing that ‘Hughes’s use of broad generalizations about typical behaviors, divorced from any examination of the alleged victims in this case, is contrary to guidelines regulating Hughes’s profession.’

On Tuesday, the judge sided with the defence and ruled that Hugues will not get back on the stand.

Ex assistant says Diddy’s accuser ‘Jane’ was ‘always’ a willing participant in freak-offs

Diddy’s attorney Brian Steel asked his ex-employee Jonathan Perez if the mogul’s ex-girlfriend Jane, who testified in the trial this week, ‘always appears to be a willing participant in the King Nights.’

‘Yes, always,’ Perez replied.

Jane, who took the stand under a pseudonym, is one of the prosecution’s main witnesses and alleged victims.

Diddy shook his head Friday after the jury heard he was so useless with tech that he needed help to connect o Bluetooth.

Brian steel asked his former assistant Jonathan Perez about Diddy’s tech proficiency.

Perez said ‘he was not the most proficient when it came to tech.’

‘He would need help connecting to Bluetooth?’ asked Steel

Perez said yes, prompting Diddy to sahke his head.

Steel then said ‘it’s pretty elementary… I’m not insulting him.’

Diddy shook his head again.

Diddy’s lawyers describe him as an emotional ‘motivator’

During cross-examination, Diddy’s attorney Brian Steel asked his former assistant Jonathan Perez if ‘Mr Combs was a motivator.’

‘He is,’ Perez replied.

‘He’d have motivational postings on his bathroom?’ Steel continued.

‘Yes,’ Perez replied.

‘At times he was sad, you’ve seen him cry?’ Steel asked before showing something to the Perez.

‘I can’t remember if he was crying, but this does remind me that he was upset,’ Diddy’s former assistant replied.

Mystery rapper at the center of court chaos

Diddy’s lawyers on Thursday morning spoke about an event in January 2024 involving Jane in a hotel room in Vegas and how it was important that they be able to use some names that they are prohibited from doing by the anonymity order around the witness.

Doing so would allow members of the public to ‘come forward’ if they had information that might help the case. Agnifilo said that using the names was ‘important’.

Prosecutor Maurene Comey said that doing so would be a ‘pretext to harass and intimidate this witness’ and that enough had been revealed already so that anyone who had information about that event could.

The judge agreed and said he wouldn’t modify the order to allow the names from this episode to be used. The judge said this was a ‘collateral issue’ and not related to the sex trafficking charges.

Once she was back on the stand, Jane explained that in January, 2024, she traveled to Vegas with a famous rapper and his girlfriend on a private plane.

Jane said she saw Anton, one of the male escorts, having sex with someone while the rapper and his girlfriend watched.

Diddy’s lawyer said Diddy and the unnamed rapper ‘were really close to one another’ and he is ‘at the top of the music industry.’

Jane said she was aware Anton had a relationship with the rapper and often traveled with the male escort.

Jane said she flirted with the rapper and flashed her breasts at the party and claimed the rapper said he had always had a crush on her.

The mogul’s former assistant Jonathan Perez was shown a picture of a Gucci pouch by the prosecution.

He said it belonged to Diddy, and it was his job to make sure the pouch was in the mogul’s backpack before the ‘king nights’ or freak offs.

Perez told the jury the bag contained cocaine, ketamine, molly, adderall and Xanax.

Diddy has been sporting a much different look during his trial than he did while he was a free man, sparking speculation that he could be trying ‘the nerd defense.’

His hair and goatee are now nearly all white, as the mogul no longer has access to Just For Men hair dye that was found in his Miami mansion.

He has also been pairing black framed glasses with a white collared short under a neutral toned sweater, as noted by The New York Times.

The ‘nerd defense’ is based on the idea that dressing defendants in glasses has a subliminal effect on the jury, which will see the accused as someone less likely to engage in criminal activity.

The jury was shown text messages where Diddy’s right-hand woman Kristina Khorram asks Jonathan Perez if ‘the room is done yet’ in May 2023.

Khorram then asked him to let him know when he was on his way to the ‘sex store,’ Perez said.

Perez said he included Vital Honey in the room’s requirements because ‘it increases a man’s libido.’

The FDA advised consumers not to purchase or use Vital Honey in 2022, saying it ‘contains tadalafil, the active ingredient in the FDA-approved prescription drug Cialis, used to treat erectile dysfunction.’

Prosecution accuses Diddy of ‘nodding’ during testimony after judge’s warning

‘Mr Combs has been nodding during cross-examination for most recent witnesses… he has done so during Jane’s examination,’ prosecutor Maurene Comey told the court on Friday.

‘I ask that your honor remind Mr Combs that nodding – especially emphatically – is not appropriate.’

Diddy’s lawyer Brian Steel fired back, saying Diddy ‘has been nothing but professional’ during the trial.

‘Since [the judge’s] previous comments, he’s not even looking at the jurors,’ Steel added.

Judge Arun Subramanian last week admonished Diddy for ‘nodding vigurously’ at jurors during testimony. The judge threatened to throw Diddy out of his own trial if he continued the behavior.

But on Friday the judge did not issue another warning and asked prosecutors to inform him about further alleged violations.

Special agent shows the guns found in Diddy’s mansion

Special agent Andre Lamon said five guns, including a shotgun and rifles were found in the security office in Diddy’s LA mansion.

A drum magazine was also found in the office, the jury was told.

The agent said they found ’59 rounds of green tip ammunition. [It is] manufactured to penetrate body armour better than normal ammunition.’

One of the firearms had the serial number scratched off, the agent added.

Ex Diddy assistant asks for immunity before testifying

Jonathan Perez asked for an immunity order before taking the stand on Friday.

He worked for Diddy between 2021 and 2024.

Perez told the court he got the assistant job after being contacted by Diddy’s right-hand woman Kristina Khorram.

Other witnesses, including one of Diddy’s former assistants, have asked for immunity before testifying for the prosecution.

Kanye West walks into Diddy trial courthouse

Kanye West, wearing an all-white outfit and sunglasses, was seen walking into Manhattan’s federal court on Friday.

The controversial rapper was received warmly by Diddy’s son Christian ‘King’ Combs, 27.

He was also greeted by defense attorney Xavier Donaldson.

When asked if he was in court to support Diddy, Kanye nodded ‘yes.’

People in the courthouse erupted in cheers as Kanye entered and went through security checks.

Kanye apparently went into an overflow room for a few moments with three security guards – before leaving less than an hour after arriving in the courthouse.

It comes after CNN reported the rapper wanted to support Diddy in person on Thursday.

Kanye has loudly supported Diddy throughout the case, describing him as an exemplar father.

Diddy agrees to waive right to appeal verdict based on juror’s credibility

Prosecutors asked for one of the jurors in the Diddy case to be dismissed because of ‘inconsistent’ statements about his residency, the trial heard Friday.

The said he was a 41-year-old man who lives in the Bronx and works for the New York City Department of Corrections.

Prosecutor Meredith Foster said: ‘The juror has said multiple things that cannot all be true’. The prosecutor added that this was a ‘serious issue’.

The juror – a black man – had let slip some information to court staff during ‘banter’ which prompted prosecutors to go back and review his statements during Voir Dire.

According to the judge, the juror said he had moved from the Bronx in the last two weeks and that it could have been ‘ambiguous’ where he lived.

Diddy’s lawyer Alexandra Shapiro said that they would gladly waive any appeal in the event of a guilty verdict regarding this juror.

She invited Diddy to briefly address the court to confirm this.

Diddy put his hand up and said: ‘Waived, your honor!’

Marc Agnifilo, another of Diddy’s lawyers, said that the juror’s statements were ‘innocuous, harmless’ and because he wasn’t used to dealing with the court.

Judge Subramanian said he would decide how to move forward at the end of the day.

What to know about Friday’s witnesses

A federal agent, Andre Lamon, and a former assistant to Diddy named Jonathan Perez is expected to take the stand for the prosecution on Friday.

Perez worked for Diddy during his relationship with the previous witness, ‘Jane,’ who testified under a pseudonym.

Prosecutors want a juror axed from the jury

Judge Arun Subramanian is expected to rule on the prosecution’s request to dismiss a juror from the trial.

Before the jury came in on Tuesday, prosecutors asked the judge to strike juror #6 from the jury.

Prosecutor Maurene Comey replied that they had seen ‘what appeared to be a lack of candor with the court that raises serious issues with us.’

Cross-examination of Jane is over

Diddy’s attorney finished her questioning of his ex-girlfriend and accuser Jane on Thursday.

Prosecutors now get to question her again so clarify any loose ends from her testimony during cross-examination.

Jane is the prosecution’s last major witness and they are expected to rest their case soon.

Diddy’s son Christian ‘King’ Combs wore a t-shirt with ‘Free Combs’ on it in court on Thursday.

The shirt has a mesh layer over it that barely disguises the words ‘Free Combs’ in white.

Court attendees are not allowed to have slogans such as this in court.

In fact, people have been told to turn their sweaters inside out if they have them on them, so the mogul’s son appeared to be skirting around the rules.
