Four creepy words girl, 7, heard from ‘man’s voice’ before grossly indecent act in woman’s changing room

The chilling voice of a Kansas man echoed through a women’s changing room as he uttered four haunting words, all while exposing himself to a young girl and her mother.

A mother and her seven-year-old daughter were changing in the women’s locker room of a North Kansas City YMCA fitness center earlier this month when the sound of a man’s voice sent chills down their spine, prompting them to leave the stall, Fox 4 KC reported.

But on their way out, the disturbing sight of a naked man with his genitals exposed left them in utter disbelief.

When confronted about what he was doing, the indecent man simply responded: ‘Honey, I’m a woman’.

On April 12, the unnamed seven-year-old girl had just finished her swimming lessons at the YMCA when she and her mother went to the locker rooms to dry off and change.

It was while the pair were still in the stall that they heard the distinct sound of a man’s voice coming from inside the women’s dedicated changing room.

Together, they left the stall – only to be confronted seconds later with a naked man exposing himself.

The genitals were out in the open for anyone – including her young daughter – to see.

A mother and her seven-year-old daughter were leaving the women’s changing room of a North Kansas City YMCA fitness center when they were met with the disturbing sight of a naked man with his genitals exposed in the locker room

When the unnamed mother confronted the man about what he was doing naked in the women’s changing rooms, he bluntly responded: ‘Honey, I’m a woman

The mother immediately questioned the man’s vile act, demanding to know what in the world he was doing – naked – in a space where women are supposed to feel safe.

‘Honey, I’m a woman,’ the mother recalled the man bluntly responding.

Sprinting out of the changing room, she and her daughter then went to a staff member to report the unsettling incident.

‘This is not a case of transitional status,’ the mother, who wishes to remain anonymous to protect her family, told Fox 4.

‘This is an issue of somebody showing their body parts to my child in a room where she should be safe from such things.’

Dozens of mothers were left unsettled as news of the incident spread, particularly given that hundreds of children attend swim lessons at the facility and likely use the women’s locker room to change after their session ends.

‘Shock, because I have an 11-year-old that comes here often with me and works out,’ Angela Bush, a YMCA member, told Fox 4. ‘It’s definitely a shock.’

‘My 11-year-old does use that locker room, especially after we go to the pool,’ Bush added.

The disturbing incident occurred on April 12, just after the unnamed seven-year-old girl finished her swimming lessons at the YMCA and headed to the locker rooms with her mother to dry off and change

The YMCA launched its own investigation into the incident and released a statement, which said: ‘We follow all state and local laws, and individuals are allowed to use the locker room or restroom that they identify with’

‘In there, you either have to use the closed-off showers or try to change as quickly as possible. It’s definitely shocking and something we’ll be looking out for a little bit more.’

Following the mother’s report, the YMCA of Greater Kansas City launched its own formal investigation into the matter, stating that they are ‘aware of a reported incident in the locker room’ but are ‘unable to provide further details at this time’.

‘We follow all state and local laws, and individuals are allowed to use the locker room or restroom that they identify with,’ the facility said in a statement to Fox 4.

‘At the North Kansas City YMCA, we also have four private universal changing rooms available, separate from the larger shared locker rooms, for anyone who prefers the privacy they offer,’ the statement added.

‘The safety and well-being of all of our members is a priority, and we take this concern seriously.’

In the statement, YMCA also emphasized the importance of wearing a towel, wrap or other clothes at all times while using any of the facility’s shared spaces – a rule that is stressed to members upon joining.

Along with the YMCA, the North Kansas City Police Department also confirmed an active investigation into the mother’s indecent exposure report, though they did not share any further details.

In August of last year, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey launched an investigation into Life Time Fitness – a separate fitness chain – for a similar problem within the establishment’s locker rooms.

In August of last year, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey launched an investigation into Life Time Fitness – a separate fitness chain – for allowing Eric Montano, a transgender-identifying male who exposed himself in the women’s changing room, to access the female spaces throughout the gym

In January, Donald Trump signed a one-day executive order declaring that the government will only recognize two sexes – male and female

Life Time reportedly allowed Eric Montano, a transgender-identifying male, to access the female spaces throughout the gym, National Review reported

However, the decision was met with numerous complaints from female members, particularly because Montano exposed himself while in the women’s changing room before.

The gym ultimately revoked Montano’s membership, citing that ‘Life Time was presented with multiple, publicly available statements which could affect the safety and security at one of our clubs’, a spokesperson told National Review.

In a notice of investigation addressed to the facility’s CEO, Bailey wrote that he will ‘vigorously defend and enforce Missouri’s laws’.

‘If you insist on endangering women and young girls in our state, in open defiance of the law, be assured you will face the consequences,’ the document read.

In January, Donald Trump signed a one-day executive order declaring that the government will only recognize two sexes – male and female.

This meant that all ‘intimate spaces designated for women, girls or females’ will be determined by sex rather than gender identity.

Just last week, the United Kingdom’s Supreme Court announced in a landmark judgement that the definition of a woman is based on biological sex, signaling a revolt against woke policies.

Lord Hodge said that five Supreme Court justices had unanimously decided that ‘the terms woman and sex in the Equality Act refer to a ‘biological woman and biological sex’.

He recognized ‘the strength of feeling on both sides’ and cautioned against seeing the judgement as a triumph for one side over another, stressing that the law still gives trans people protection against discrimination.

Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) chairwoman Baroness Kishwer Falkner (pictured) described the Supreme Court ruling as ‘enormously consequential’ and vowed to pursue organizations which do not update their policies

President Trump’s one-day executive order in January meant that all ‘intimate spaces designated for women, girls or females’ will be determined by sex rather than gender identity

In an 88-page ruling, the justices said: ‘The definition of sex in the Equality Act 2010 makes clear that the concept of sex is binary, a person is either a woman or a man.’

The decision could have far-reaching implications on how sex-based rights apply, including how women-only spaces are allowed to operate.

Lawyers suggested that transgender women may be asked to use disabled bathrooms at work following the Supreme Court’s decision, as they are set to be barred from both female bathrooms and sports.

Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) chairwoman Baroness Kishwer Falkner described the ruling as ‘enormously consequential’ and vowed to pursue organizations which do not update their policies.

On issues such as toilets, changing rooms and sports, Baroness Falkner echoed the Government in saying the ruling had brought ‘clarity’ to providers on their duties under equality law around single-sex spaces.

On changing rooms and toilets, Baroness Falkner said: ‘Single-sex services like changing rooms must be based on biological sex.’

She said there is no law against organizations providing a third space, such as unisex toilets, and suggested that trans rights organizations ‘should be using their powers of advocacy to ask for those third spaces’.
