A man is fighting for his life after being attacked at a Morrisons petrol station.
The male was seen ‘drenched in blood’, reported The Sun, as he was carried to an ambulance and rushed to hospital with life threatening injuries.
The brutal assault happened yesterday at about 1.27pm at the Pennine Service Station on Bradley Road, in Huddersfield.
A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder. He has been taken into police custody for questioning.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: ‘Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured in an incident in Huddersfield
‘Kirklees District CID would like to speak with anyone who saw or has information about an incident at a petrol station on Bradley Road.
‘Officers were called at about 1.27pm on the 26th of April 2025 to a report of a serious assault at the Pennine Service Station.
‘An adult male was located with life threatening injuries. He was transferred to the LGI where he remains in a critical condition.
