A teenage girl has been charged after a 42-year-old man was shot in the chest in a Queensland carpark.
Emergency services rushed to Lakefield Drive in North Lakes, north of Brisbane, following reports a man had been seriously injured at about 9.40pm on Monday.
The 42-year-old man was transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police said he had an ‘interaction’ with three men and the teenage girl.
The teen, from Windsor in Brisbane’s inner-north, was charged with one count each of attempt to murder, possessing dangerous drugs, unlawful possession of weapons and authority required to possess explosives.
She was refused bail and is due to appear in Ipswich Children’s Court on Tuesday.
An Audi A5 driven by the alleged offenders has been seized by police.
Investigations are ongoing.
