A dog named Digby found himself ‘snowed-under’ on his walk as he bounded about in the wintry weather.

The adorable pooch donned his best red jacket to play in the white stuff at Studley Royal Park in Ripon, North Yorkshire, on January 5.

He was snapped chasing after his canine friend Ziggy – who looked a little more agile in the snow.

Hours of blizzards saw much of northern England, the Midlands and Wales wake up to a white carpet up to 6.5in deep as temperatures dropped to -11C.
