A throuple who have been squatting inside a sprawling mansion in Atlanta have finally been booted out after almost a year of living free of charge.

Fulton County Marshal’s Department shared footage of the operation to kick the trio – who are in a three-way romantic relationship – out of the 15,000 square foot mansion in North Atlanta.

Tensions were heighened among officers after initial investigations indicated ‘the tenants may identify as sovereign citizens.’

‘Significant precautions were implemented,’ the department said in an incident report.

Video of the operation showed a bare home with minimal furniture, as marshals with long guns and shield swept the property.

The vision captured them checking multiple rooms in the house as they checked for other squatters.

According to court documents seen by WSB-TV2, Abdurrashiyd York and Pamela Delpiano were two of the squatters who had called the mansion home for at least a year.

Unnamed ‘others’ were referenced in the documents as having also occupied the home at various stages.

The publication stated a dog had recently died inside the home, and York said they were considering where to bury it.

According to spokesman Capt. Quintin Hill, the trio have been in the home since the foreclosure process last year, and refuse to leave.

The home – estimated to be worth about $3.5million – has been at the center of a long and drawn out court battle over ownership.

JP Morgan Chase bank filed a suit demanding they leave the premises, but York filed a counterclaim demanding the bank pay him $50,000 to reimburse him for repairs he made to the home while occupying it.

In a 2023 suit, the court heard that Delpiano and her ex husband purchased the property in 2005, but the mortgage loan went into default by March 2006.

The couple divorced in 2008, and the records show authorities have attempted on at least eight occasions in the years since to provide notice of a foreclosure sale.

In the state of Georgia, squatting ‘refers to the unauthorized occupation of property without the owner’s consent,’ police said

‘A drone was also used for aerial surveillance to assess the situation and identify potential inhabitants,’ the Marshal’s department said.

‘Additional units were deployed to the scene to ensure safety and effective monitoring.’

‘While property owners have the right to evict squatters, they must follow legal procedures.’

When officers arrived, the trio cooperated and left the scene. No arrests were made.
