Trump ramps up the pressure on Kamala with Joe Rogan appearance as her support with men plummets

Donald Trump is expected to do an interview with podcaster Joe Rogan on Friday as pressure grows on Kamala Harris to also sit down with the popular host.

A campaign source confirmed details of the long-awaited interview being recorded in Rogan’s Austin, Texas, studio to DailyMail.com.

Trump said in an interview last week with the Nelk Boys podcast that he was planning to sit down with Rogan, who boasts millions of followers.

‘Oh, sure I would,’ he said, when asked by host Kyle Forgeard. ‘I mean, I think I’m doing it, actually.’

Trump has made the rounds with several prominent podcasters in the final weeks of the campaign, but none as influential as Rogan, who draws over 14 million listeners on Spotify alone and 17.5 million subscribers on YouTube

It now puts more pressure on Kamala Harris to also appear on Rogan’s podcast with 14 days to go to the election as as her support with men has taken a dive.

According to a new poll in swing state Georgia, less than three in 10 men are backing the VP.

The final Atlanta Journal-Constitution/University of Georgia survey of the campaign shows the Democrat is still underwater with male voters despite a push to connect from her campaign.

Trump has made the grab for the male vote central to his campaign, with multiple appearances on the so-called ‘bro’ podcasts and trips to college football and NFL games.

Reuters reported that Vice President Kamala Harris was considering participating in an interview, citing a meeting with campaign officials and Rogan’s team. The two parties have not agreed to a specific date.

Trump recently sat down with PBD podcast interviewer Patrick Bet-David for a wide-ranging interview where he discussed his wife Melania and son Barron.

Trump also appeared on Theo Vaughn’s popular show and the Full Send podcast hosted by the Nelk Boys.

Meanwhile, Kamala has appeared on Call Her Daddy, The Shade Room podcast and NBA podcast All the Smoke.

Rogan famously revealed in July 2022 that he had turned down multiple interviews with Trump, because he did not want to be seen as helping him win an election.

‘I’m not a Trump supporter in any way, shape or form,’ he said in a podcast conversation with Lex Friedman.

‘I’ve had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once — I’ve said no, every time. I don’t want to help him. I’m not interested in helping him.’

Speculation about a possible Rogan interview with Trump escalated after the pair met and shook hands with each other at a UFC fight in July 2023.

In subsequent podcast conversations, Rogan mused that he might be interested in interviewing Trump so that he could ask him questions about the ‘deep state’ intelligence agencies and UAPs (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena.)

‘It would be interesting to hear his perspective on a lot of things,’ he told fellow podcaster Patrick Bet-David in August 2023.

Their public relationship hit a rough patch after Rogan praised Independent candidate Robert Kennedy Jr. when he was still running for president, which many interpreted as an endorsement.

‘He’s the only one — he doesn’t attack people, he attacks actions and ideas, but he’s much more reasonable and intelligent,’ he said, calling Kennedy as ‘only one that makes sense to me.’

Trump reacted by speculating about the reaction from his supporters the next time the popular podcaster and fight announcer appeared at a UFC fight.

‘It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring??? MAGA2024,’ Trump posted on social media.
