Australia strips medals from commanders over Afghan war crimes

Australia’s Defence Minister has stripped distinguished service medals from “less than 10” commanders, over alleged war crimes committed in Afghanistan under their watch. The previous government overturned a defence force decision to strip medals from more than 3,000 personnel.
